Lucielle has worked as the Housing Administrative Assistant in Kingcome for the last 5 years since 2012. Her role includes maintaining the eleven Social Housing units, as well as the three teacherages, along with dealing with outside agencies such as CMHC, INAC, etc.
She has recently completed First Nations Housing Managers course through Vancouver Island University.
Most important accomplishment to date for Lucielle would be completing the NAHS (New Approach Housing Strategy) project through INAC funds which created new policies, forms and a way forward based on two on reserve workshops with tons of input from community members from oldest to youngest.
Also within the past few years she has worked on having both Social Housing units and Teacherages renovated. In 2016 she worked with CMHC Consultants and received monies for fourteen of the homes to be renovated to meet health and safety standards.
